The 'Zilla's Corner - 3-26-04

First Word

Welcome back ladies to another addition of The ‘Zilla's Corner. Well pigskin season is over but don't think that Buddy will stop there! Oh no! That crazy bastard won't stop till he sure you've gambled every last nickel in your pocket. That's right, it may have taken him 2 months to build but his hard work and perseverance is starting to pay off. Largely we have you to thank for the sites success, spreading word of Sundaypickem.com to friends, family and co-workers alike. Because of you our marketing team has projected that by the year 2006 Sundaypickem.com will be the foremost website authority in sports gambling on the planet. So next time you see Buddy B. be sure to give him some snaps… He's earned them!

Breakin' It Down

Well we all know how many points we are behind but for those of you that failed 2 nd grade math lets take a closer look at who's really still in.

The Housedogs

Buddy's marrying Jen this July but Brian Hemhauser has his eyes set on winning Matt's tournament and beating every red cent out of his future brother-in-law. The Housedogs are on top of the pack and now and need Oklahoma State to win it all. He may very well make Buddy his bitch this time around but be careful Brian, Matt gets to goto bed with your sister every night.

MJ(2)

The team that in my estimation has the most creative team name is also the team with the second best chance of winning the big dance. Mike Wachter may very well be a bracket genius. This SOB is the only one with every one of his final four teams still alive. The MJ part 2's need a Kansas win and UConn to go the distance for him to be padding his wallet when it's all said and done. He's my pick, I'm taking MJ(2) in a squeaker to win it all. MJ(2) for president!

Go St. Joe's

This is what I thought was funny. The team called “Go St. Joe's” didn't even have St. Joe's in the final four??.. Come on, have some loyalty man! However, since they took the unpopular pick of G. Tech they still have a good shot at the prize. This Sunday be sure to stop by you local sports bar where you'll be able to catch a glimpse of Joe drooling on the big screen TV while he prays during halftime for a Tech win over Kansas.

Jersey City Carpet Baggers

Guess who's back? Rodney Aycox back! Guess who's back, guess who's back, guess whose back… nah, nah, nah… Yep, you all left him for dead didn't you?! Thought you could all just walk counting your money all the way to the bank. But guess what? You forgot the cardinal f'in rule in sports betting! Never turn you back on Rodney Aycox! Now Rodney Aycox has returned straight out of your nightmares and he's bringing hell with him! If Kansas wins it all they'll vault Rodney all the way to the top and leave every one of you wondering where you went wrong…

Big Loser

Idontknowjack

Check out this guy! He didn't even get one final four team right! Hahaha… what a huge loser! Stanford… Kentucky winning it all??!! What were you thinking man??? This is the guy who's gonna come in dead last! Guaranteed! Email him at jayfriedman2002@yahoo.com and tell him what a dumbass he is!

Final Word

In my final word I would like to talk a little about the St. Joe's/Oklahoma State game that was the eventual end of me in this little contest. Six seconds left some jackass who was throwing up bricks all night drills a line drive fade away three pointer at the buzzer. Then what's worse is Jameer Nelson decides instead of calling a time out he's gonna go coast to coast and settle for a fade away could-be tying shot from the top of the key… CALL A TIME OUT ASSHOLE!!! TAKE THE BALL AT HALF COURT!!! GET A SET PLAY IN!!! Needless to say that Lord Mortiis was not pleased.

Well that's all the time we have today kiddies. One more article coming before the end of the tournament so email you questions and comments to zilla@sundaypickem.com for next weeks Rappin with The ‘Zilla. Also, tune in next week when Brian Standig lends his thoughts in a movie review on ‘The Passion of The Christ'.

Until next time, Seacrest Out!
